What’s Happening in the Preschool Room?

What will your child experience at Love & Learn Childcare Academy? At Love & Learn, we feel every hour is an opportunity to nourish a child’s body or mind. We have two preschool rooms with a variety of activities that are both quiet and active, both teacher- and child-directed. Here is a sample of a child’s day in our Preschool Room.

6-8:30 Arrival and morning small station play

8:30-9 Breakfast and clean up

9-9:30 Circle time, calendar, story, sharing

9:30-11:30 Art and Cognitive Activities. Also group directed play and outside time.

11:30-11:45 Prepare for lunch

11:45-12:15 Lunch

12:15-12:30 Lunch clean up and prepare for nap

12:30-3:00 Naptime. Also quiet reading and cognitive centers.

3-3:15 Afternoon Snack

3:15-6 Afternoon small station play and outside time until departure

Expect Your Kids to Get Dirty!

At Love & Learn, we play outside, do arts and crafts projects, and explore our world. Sometimes this is a little dirty, but it’s always a ton of fun! Keeping this in mind, we have provided individual containers for each child so that items can be left at the center. Please label all belongings. If your child is in the Preschool Room, you will be asked to provide the following.

Change of clothes (2 Sets)

Blanket/small pillow

Childcare Center

We want our children to LOVE AND LEARN  in a positive environment where they can happily develop skills - educationally, socially, and physically - which will make them successful in all they do!

We serve families with children aged infant to Pre-K and are open Monday - Friday from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm.
