What’s Happening in the Toddler Room?

What will your child experience at Love & Learn Childcare Academy? At Love & Learn, we feel every hour is an opportunity to nourish a child’s body or mind. We have one toddler room with stimulating programming throughout the day. Here is a sample of a child’s day in our Toddler Room.

6-8:30 Arrival and morning small station play

8:30-9 Breakfast

9-9:30 Diapering and potty training

9:30-10:00 Circle time – stories, songs, art, cognitive activities

10-11 Outside play and /or large motor activities indoors

11-11:30 Diapering and potty training

11:30-11:45 Prepare for lunch; music stories, dancing, books on tape

11:45-12:15 Lunch

12:15-12:30 Lunch clean up, potty time for those in underwear

12:30-3:00 Naptime – Diapering and potty training as they wake up

2-3 Books, puzzles, coloring and other quiet activities

3-3:15 Afternoon Snack

3:15-4:30 Variety of activities and/or outdoor play

4:30-5 Diapering and potty training

5-6 Evening small station play and stories until departure

Expect Your Kids to Get Dirty!

At Love & Learn, we play outside, do arts and crafts projects, and explore our world. Sometimes this is a little dirty, but it’s always a ton of fun! Keeping this in mind, we have provided individual containers for each child so that items can be left at the center. Please label all belongings. If your child is in the Toddler Room, you will be asked to provide the following. One thing to note: Toddlers love to share with their friends! To prevent the sharing of bottles and pacifiers, we will not allow them in our Toddler Room.

Blanket/small pillow

We want our children to LOVE AND LEARN  in a positive environment where they can happily develop skills - educationally, socially, and physically - which will make them successful in all they do!

We serve families with children aged infant to Pre-K and are open Monday - Friday from 6:30 am to 5:30 pm.
